Your location should remain yours.
ConnectUS IRL requests location only when you choose to check proximity or validate a location-required checkpoint. The system stores limited checkpoint events—not a continuous breadcrumb trail—unless a hunt clearly states otherwise.
Information a hunt may collect
A host may collect a nickname, optional contact details, checkpoint progress, answers, device category, broad accuracy, and scan results. Each hunt should collect only what it needs.
Your choices
You may deny location or camera access and request an accessible alternative or manual marker code. Contact the hunt host to request access, correction, anonymization, or deletion of your player record.
Administrators should replace this starter notice with organization-specific contact information and retention periods before public launch.
